Since it erupted every minute in the past, it was named as the Minute Man Geyser. It features a large cone five feet high by 12 feet long built of geyserite, and triggers violent eruptions as boiling water jets rise 10-20 feet at first, but decline in force until the water and steam are exhausted. .
