Maple Shade Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 19,079. Maple Shade borders Cinnaminson Township, Moorestown Township, Mount Laurel Township, and the Camden County municipalities of Pennsauken Township and Cherry Hill Township. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 3.8 square miles (9.8 km2), all of it land.
