The Little Sandy River is a tributary of the Ohio River, about 85.4 miles (137.4 km) long, in northeastern Kentucky in the United States. Via the Ohio, it is part of the Mississippi River watershed.The Little Sandy rises in southern Elliott County and flowsgenerally north-northeastwardly in a meandering course through Elliott, Carter and Greenup counties, past the towns of Sandy Hook and Grayson. It joins the Ohio River at Greenup.
