The King Salmon River is a tributary of the Egegik River, located on the western slope of the Alaska Peninsula in southwest Alaska.It flows westward 63 miles (101 km) from headwaters formed at confluence of Contact Creek and Takayofo Creek directly on the southwest border of Katmai National Monument in the Aleutian Range to a confluence with the Egegik River approximately 2 miles (3 km) east of the village of Egegik.
