Hardin Ridge Recreation Area

Hardin Ridge Recreation Area the 1,200 acre Hardin Ridge recreational complex is located on the shores of Monroe Reservoir. Located just southeast of Bloomington, the area is easily accessible from State Highway 446. The area offers camping, picnicking, boat launching, swimming, nature walks, and interpretive programs in a forested environment.The Hardin Ridge Recreation Area has two primitive cabins available for rent. These cabins are available April 15 through October 15 but may be reserved from mid May to early October. The cabins rent for $50. There is also a $75 damage deposit. Rough furniture is provided but no bedding.
