Deer Springs Canyon is a scenic canyon that cuts through the Vermilion Cliffs. Some interesting pictographs are located in its upper reaches. To get to Deer Springs Canyon, follow Nipple Ranch Road for five miles to where a fence crosses the road, and then continue about another mile to where the road to Deer Springs Canyon takes off on the left. This road immediately crosses Park Wash before heading up Deer Springs Canyon. It is a very poor road and should only be driven by people who enjoy the challenges offered by four-wheel-drive roads. This would also be a nice canyon to hike.
