Cuartelez

Cuartelez is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. It is part of the Santa Fe, New Mexico Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 452 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 452 people, 165 households, and 129 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 339.9 people per square mile (131.2/km²). There were 198 housing units at an average density of 148.9 per square mile (57.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 57.74% White, 1.77% Native American, 34.73% from other races, and 5.75% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 86.06% of the population.
