Phoenix is the capital, and largest city, of the U.S. state of Arizona.Located in the northeastern reaches of the Sonoran Desert, Phoenix has a subtropical desert climate. In 2010 the Musical Instrument Museum opened their doors, featuring the biggest musical instrument collection in the world.
Phoenix is home to a large number of Parks and recreation areas. Many waterparks are scattered around the valley to help residents cope with the harsh desert heat during the summer months.
