Thap Boek is located at Mu 14, Wang Ban Sub-district. It is a Hmong village. Geographically, it lies at the 1,768 meters above sea level claimed as the highest point of Phetchabun Province. It is mountainous from the starting point up to the village with chilly climate throughout the year. It is also a reservation venue for the rain used in the ceremony of casting a spell onto the holy water for the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary 5th December 1999.
