Paloma Polo. Posicion Aparente

It is a project by artist Paloma Polo that explores the western expeditions made to study astronomy. Her work looks at initiatives carried out between the 19th and early 20th centuries, and her study reveals the complex relationships between scientific development and European colonial expansion. The exhibition focuses on the expedition conducted by Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington in 1919 to confirm Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
