The building was constructed between the 12th and 13th centuries in Romanesque style. It has a basilica plan of three naves, the Central one higher than the sides. The sanctuary is finished off in a triple, semicircular apse. The church has as simple ogive vault. Outside, the bell tower built in the 14th century is particularly striking. It has a square plan and is crowned with crenellations that give it a military look.
