Cadiz, yesterday and today

This museum has a highly varied collection, with special emphasis on the Cadiz Court and Constitution of 1812.

There is a room entirely dedicated to the 1812 Constitution, and two vital elements not to be missed on your visit: the model of Cadiz and the painting of the announcement of "La Pepa" (the constitution), by Salvador Viniegra. On the lower floor there are also archaeological exhibits, pre-Columbine ceramics, drawings, engravings and an interesting 17th-century figurehead representing the Virgen del Rosario.
