Granada is a city that made a great impression on Joaquín Sorolla from his very first visit in 1902. This exhibition comprises 24 of the paintings he made in Granada in which Sorolla explores the genre of pure landscape, devoid of figures. Among the most often repeated subject matter and which had the most effect on the painter are the Sierra Nevada, the views of the city and the courtyards and towers of The Alhambra. The exhibition also includes a collection of the typical Fajalauza ceramics from Granada.
