Cuchilleros Arch (17th Century) is one of the most popular entrances to Plaza Mayor, a captivating area of Madrid. It is a large entrance which connects the square to La Cava de San Miguel, a street full of bars and restaurants. The Arch was built to compensate for the different levels of this street and Plaza Mayor.
