Trails of Famous Lubliners

Lublin is the birthplace of many famous people of various nationalities who either resided and worked here throughout their lives or were otherwise closely connected with the town. The organisers of this tourist trail wish to pay tribute to those famous sons and daughters of this land whose life and accomplishments are part of the local pride. Among them are Polish kings, well known poets and novelists, musicians, scientists, and distinguished men of the Church including Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, known as the Primate of the Millennium, and Pope John Paul II.
