If you are tired with spending summer in the city – come and take a rest on a bicycle trail ,,The Wetland’s Gate". The 33 - kilometer long trail, marked blue, begins in the vicinity of a bicycle route Euro Velo R - 11 and leads to the Centre of ,,The Wetland’s Gate” in Strękowa Góra, and then to Biebrza National Park. The trail goes through the area which was partly drained some time ago, yet kept its natural and landscape values. One of the settlements called Grądy Woniecko was in the 1960’s a place of living to over thousand workers of the socialist State-owned Agricultural Farm located there. The trail then passes by Rutki - Kossaki village, where wooden and brick houses of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries are preserved. From “The Wetland’s Gate” centre you can proceed to Laskowiec and then either follow the River Narew meanders or go deep into the swampy area of Biebrza National Park, taking the Lukasz Górnicki trail or Podlaski Stork Trail.
