The monument was dedicated to the people who live in Białystok and its area, to the soldiers who fought on the all fronts of the Second World War, to the partisans, prisoners, children, victims who died in the Białystok’s ghetto. The monument is surrounded by long stone-made stairs. It consists on nine concrete seventeen-metre high columns. They are joined by the form of tree crown where the wing-spread eagle is visible.
