The most significant improvement of the estate was building of a completely new residence between 1850 and 1855. The palace was built in neogotic style due to the considerable appeal of neogotic in mid-nineteenth century Prussia. Palace became one of the most interesting examples of neogotic in East Prussia. Built on a U-plane, it consists of many blocks of different height and size with dominating hexagonal tower in the north-east corner. The interesting building of the coach house (resembling of a castle tower) was built from the north-west side. The windows and gates in lancet niches accomplish the English neogotic charm. Simultaneously with building of a palace the nearby garden was created to look like a landscape park. It surrounded the palace from the north-east and the south but most importantly went on to the Ostrow peninsula on the opposite side of the lake. On the peninsula there was a romantic system of alleys and a family graveyard from the north (seen from the palace), as well as the vineyard from the south.

In the nineties it was a hotel. Recently, it has been bought by a private owner who tries to retain it to its splendour.
