The Royal Trail is one of the most popular tourist routes in Poland and the pride of Wielkopolska. This picturesque trail across fields and over the hills of the Gniezno Lake District will help you to learn about the history of the Polish State and its origins. It features a Museum of Hunting in Uzarzewo, Ostrów Lednicki the seat of the first Polish rulers, now famous for meetings of the Polish youth, Gniezno the first capital of Poland, a beautiful basilica in Trzemeszno, and, finally, landscape parks, nature reserves, and an observation tower in Izdby.
