A forest and landscape reserve with the area of 190.96 hectares situated in Bircza commune. It encompasses a part of a fir wood. The nature reserve was set up to protect the part of fir tree forest . The reserve constitutes the Northern border of the area where the Alpine Newt is found. Interesting amphibians in the reserve: Yellow-Bellied Toad, Common Toad, Fire Salamander, European tree frog. Birds of prey : Sparrow Hawk, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Eurasian Eagle Owl, Common Buzzard. Mammals : deer, wild boar, roe deer.
