Nowa Sól's City Museum

The City Museum in Nowa Sól shows its pieces in several exhibitions: military , numismatics , appartments of the bourgeoisie , nature of Odra valley and history of Nowa Sól . It is located in a villa built by the thread factory owner - Elexander Gruschwitz, for his son Alfred. The Museum particullarly invies to visit the historical section (history of Nowa Sól from 16th till 19th century, its location and development, development of handcraft and industry in 18th and 19th century). Tere are many lectures and museum lessons about nature of Odra valley (insects, birds and molluscs, threatened species). In te military section the weapons and the uniforms are shown, too.
