“The House on the Meadows” in Wołomin is a Museum of Wacław and Zofia Nałkowski. It animates cilture life in the town. “The House on the Meadows” in Wołomin. It’s the family residence of the famous writer Zofia Nałkowska (1884-1954), her father Wacław Nałkowski – geographer and writer, and her sister, the sculptor, Hanna Nałkowska. In the beginning of the 20th century It was a famous fin de sie’cle literary salon. In 1992 the town of Wołomin founded here a museum. It collects memorabilia of the Nałkowki family but also animates culture life.
