Dąbrówka Górna invites to visit a beautiful castle. It was built in the middle of XVII century but it is claimed that there was a fortified building earlier. As the legend recounts, there was a princess Dąbrówka who was intered in a silver sarcophagus in an old part of the castle. The first known owner of the castle is the Rogoyscy's family who bought it in 1490 and lived there until XVIII century. Next resident was Jerzy Ludwik von Dalwig, who sold it to Walter von Teichmann-Logischen. The castle is surrounded by a vast park where You may reflect upon tombs of last owners of the castle, the family Teichmann-Logischen. The last descendant of the kin, Gotfryd married an actress Krystyna Duschanek , despite his mother's disapproval. As the legend says, after the wedding during a night, there raised a wall that divided him into two equal parts. The earl died in 1944 and was buried in the park as his relatives were. His wife and son left for Germany. After the Second World War, there were granaries and administration of National Collective Farm and a kindergarten. From the middle of 1980's the palace became empty. In 1993 it was bought by a private owner. Currently it has been adapting for a hotel.
