Camiguin Island is a World renowned vacation destination situated just ten kilometers north of Mindanao. This island is a paradise of natural beauty. The Sunken Cemetery of the island is landmark of this magnificent destination. It is a Spanish-era cemetery which was driven into the sea due to a massive volcanic eruption in 1800s.

Snorkelers can reach the tombstones that still exist below the sea around twenty feet. The best time to visit the cemetery is in the afternoon as bright natural light can be achieved. The water level remains at an ideal level in noon and ensures safe returning to the shore. Visitors can get an overwhelming feeling by touching the Sunken Cemetery.
