Puerto Princesa National Museum

Palawan Puerto Princesa National Museum is great place to visit for understanding the cultural aspect of the region. This museum showcases both art and historically significant exhibits. It is to be noted that Palawan Puerto Princesa National Museum is different from Palawan Museum though they both are about Palawan. Palawan Puerto Princesa National Museum is situated at the old City Hall building. This museum includes very interesting items on display such as ancient musical instruments, ancient pottery, hunting & trapping tools and others. Prehistoric civilization findings, Spanish colonial collections, antique items from Fort Cuyo are other renowned exhibits of the museum. The museum also houses a library which holds books on ethnographic findings and local history.
