Philippine Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary

Philippine Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place watch one of the ancient terrestrial creatures known as Tarsier. This sanctuary offers a great hide out to this wonderful creature and also works as a premier breeding center of Tarsiers. This little primate finds a very conducive living habitat in form of this sanctuary. The sanctuary exhibits secondary growth forest and is situated away from human settlements in order to provide a perfect natural habitat. The vegetation of the sanctuary include tall grass patches, bamboo clumps, growth trees and thick bushes which are excellent for this little creature.

In order to collect valuable information about this magnificent animal, the foundation has built a visitors complex. The primary aim of the complex is to provide vital and detailed information about Tarsiers; it also has a research center, a library, conference rooms etc.
