Mount Matutum

Mount Matutum is renowned for offering some really picturesque and mesmerizing natural views that draw tourists from all round the globe. The mountain is about 2,286 meter high and ideally situated at the southern end of the Philippines southernmost province of Mindanao. The major attraction of the mount region includes a very well preserved three hundred and twenty m wide crater of the volcano's summit. This is also a great place to visit for watching some really amazing and outstanding species of animals which include some rare and extinct species. This site is also a great place for bird lovers as it offers around 91 species of birds which include endangered fairy bluebird. The mountain is widely appreciated for climbing or mountaineering as it offers great challenges to them.
