Mount Apo

Mount Apo is a very popular and very interesting mountain region situated amidst the gorgeous natural views. The height of the mountain is around 2,956 meters that makes it a highest mountain in the country. This magnificent mountain features three crater one of them having a small lake. While watching through Davao City, Mount Apo appears as a snow-capped peak but in fact the white color is due to sulphur content. The mountain is also quite popular among the amateur climbers of the World. The region of the mountain is also rich in biological diversity and exhibits three different forest formations viz. lowland tropical rainforest, high mountain and mid-mountain forests.
