Igang Marine Substation

This goverment sponsored fish hatchery has been operating for a number of years. It is very friendly for the visitor and a good place to see the natural sea fish an almost natural environment. It is possible to see the grouper and the milkfish. The milkfish here which is the national fish of the Philippines can be seen here to a much larger size then you typically see on your breakfast plate. The fish are all released to the wild after they have grown. The staff is very friendly and it is well worth a visit.
