El Nido Marine Reserve Park

El Nido Marine Reserve Park is one of the exotic and must visit tourist destinations in Palawan. This park is stretched over an area of about 96,000 hectares sporting a very wide and diverse ecosystem. The blessed ecosystem of El Nido comprises magnificent limestone cliffs, pristine beaches, dense rainforest, mangroves, wildlife etc. Manta rays is a stunning attraction of this site as it is home to the rarest mammal known as the sea cow also called as 'dugong' in local dialect.

This place also gives an opportunity to watch five species of mammals, Malayan pangolin and sixteen bird species. The threatened species of birds such as Palawan Peacock Pheasant, Scops Owl and Palawan Hornbill can also be sighted here. The outstanding water based recreational activities of the park include sea kayaking, snorkeling, diving etc. Visitors can enjoy the experience of lifetime of swimming with whale sharks.
