Cudugnon Cave is one of the best and most sought after tourist destinations in El Nido. It is believed that this place was a Neolithic burial place and holds a position of significant archeological site. Prehistoric human bones along with several ancient artifacts were found here, making it a historically significant site.

This magnificent ancient cave of Cudugnon is the result of millions of years of erosion. It is located in the western part of Lagen Island. One has to step into this mysterious cave through a small hole and needs to maneuver his body and items carried while passing through. Visitors need to notice that during high tides entry to this magnificent site is quite difficult as the interior of cave gets filled with water. But this gives an opportunity to snorkel or dive under water and see the creatures that reside underwater .
