Barracuda Lake

Barracuda Lake is also known as Cayangan Lake is a widely appreciated and sought destination among tourists. This is one of the excellent sites to visit for scuba diving in Palawan. The lake is situated right in the middle of the limestone cliffs. For reaching the actual diving site, visitors need to climb and move down the limestone cliffs.

This lake features a number of amazing things the scuba divers can experience. They can feel abrupt change in temperature. They can also see a very thin line separating cold and hot water. The water temperature drastically changes from 27 degree Celsius to 38 degree Celsius just after 10 to 12 meters of the start. The underwater treasure is also quite interesting exhibiting marine creatures such as shellfish, crayfish, shrimps, catfish along with barracuda. A Dugong or sea cow can also be seen on sea grass in the water.
