Port Moresby is the capital and the commercial city of Papua New Guinea. Located on the magnificent Fairfax Harbour, Lolorua and Fishermen's Island are important tourist spots as well as favorite picnic spots for sailors. Paga Point is a fabulous place from where Ela Beach and Koki Bay can be seen, which are popular tourist destinations.

This city is well-known for its scenic beauty and vibrant unique culture. Sinasi Reef and Ela Beach are few picturesque beaches of the town, attracting vacationers to its varied land and ocean activities like snorkeling, swimming, deep-sea fishing, kayaking, horse riding, kite surfing and much more.

National Museum & Art Gallery exhibits ethnography, geography, history and culture of the country. The beautiful Botanical Garden, displays rare orchid species, local trees and shrubs. Port Moresby Golf Club is a must-visit tourist attraction in the city. The Kokoda Trail campaign, the Parliament House and the Bomana War Cemetery are place worth visiting in Port Moresby.
