Sula  is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the Sunnmøre region. The administrative centre is the village of Langevåg. Other villages include Solevåg, Fiskarstrand, Veibust, Leirvågen, and Mauseidvågen. Sula is one of the most densely populated municipalities of Møre og Romsdal, and it is part of the Ålesund Region. It should not be confused with the island called Sula in Sogn og Fjordane county.

Originally, most of the island of Sula was part of the municipality of Borgund and a small part on the southwestern side of the island was part of Ulstein (see formannskapsdistrikt). On 1 July 1958, the southwestern part of Sula was transferred to Borgund. In 1968, Borgund (including all of Sula) was merged into the town of Ålesund. On 1 January 1977, the southwestern part of Borgund (the entire island of Sula, along with many small islands around it) was separated from Ålesund to become a separate municipality. The initial population of the new municipality was 6,302.
