Leaving Tengboche (3870m) the trail descends through the rhododendron forests before crossing the canyon and reaching the small settlement of Debuche. Milinggo is just a short distance past Debuche and the Evergreen Lodge makes a good place to stop for coffee. Continue on up the canyon to Pangboche where you can spend the night and visit the Pangboche Gompa.
