Trail Phakding to Namache

Leaving Phakding the trail gruadually makes its way up the beautiful canyon of the Dudh which is crossed right a total of 4 times before making the final ascent to Namache. The trail passes the entrance to the national park and gives you the first views of Everst right before you reach Namche. Monjo is a small village that lies about halfway and is a good stopping point for lunch. The final climb to Namche is fairly steep and is more difficult for some trekers due to the increasing elevation.
