Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang region is the nearest trekking routes found near Kathmandu city. It is at a mere distance of 132 kms. It is also the third largest trekking trails in Nepal. This region is full of scenic beauty and its biodiversity is also quite rich. The entire trek offers close view of mountains, rivers and lakes. Beautiful plants like larch, gentians, primroses and orchids increase the beauty of the trek. This place acts as a home to 32 mammals, 283 birds and around 3000 flowering plants. Cuckoos, red and yellow billed magpies, nightjars and pikas rule this region. Trekking through this valley reveals the mesmerizing views of landscapes and mountains.
