Gurjung

Gurjung (2060m) located on the north side of Kimrong Khola about an hours walk to the east of Chhomrong. It is a small village with several restaurants and tea houses as well as a new school. A nice place to stop for launch or if you want to stop somewhere more quite before you reach Chhomrong.

Accomodation options include the Gurjung Lodge, Green Hill Lodge, Green Vally Lodge, and the Hotel Green Hill. The further west reastuarant in this small village is the Hill Top Cafe which has good views of the surrounding canyons and is a good place to take a short break. The Hill Top Cafe also marks the junction with a trail heading south to Ghandruk.
