Deurali is Nepali meaning summit or top. Deurali Annapurna Base Camp is situated at 3200 m and lies at the head of the canyon of the Modi Khola. This is a good stopping point as it is out of the canyon and more open then Bamboo or Himalaya. Accomodation options are the Dream Lodge, Panorama Guest House, Shangrila Guest House and the Deurali Guest House. Phone service is available here and all the lodges are nice places to stay.
