Mongolia

Mongolia is a country in Central Asia. It is surrounded by land. It has China and Russia as its neighboring countries. It is said to be an independent country having sparse population and ranks 19th largest in the World. After Kazakhstan, it is rated as the second landlocked country too. Mongolia is also considered as one of the highest countries. It has an elevation of 1580 metres. It is a hot country with warm summers and cold winters. The famous cities of Mongolia are Ulaan Baatar, Erdenet, Darkhan, Moron and Choibalsan. Ulaan Baatar is the largest and the capital city. Mongolia has a rich ancient history. It has marvelous Buddhist monasteries, museums, magnificent waterfalls, lakes, cliffs and mineral springs.
