The Orkhon Waterfall is one of the major attractions of Mongolia. It is located in the Orkhon Valley which is historically a significant place. The Orkhon River which flows through this valley is spread over 1120 kms and later on it joins the Selenge Gol which is huge. This waterfall is also known as Ulaan Tsutgalan. It had come into existence because of a rare combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes which occurred around twenty thousand years back. The beauty of this waterfall enhances after there is heavy rain. The Orkhon waterfall is the biggest waterfall of Mongolia and its height is 20 m. This waterfall is definitely a must see destination for all.
