Ikh Nart Nature Reserve

The Ikh Nart Nature Reserve is situated in Dornogobi province of Mongolia. It was founded in the year 1996. The nature reserve is spread over an area of 66000 hectares. This area mainly comprise of grasslands and semi desert surroundings. The entire reserve is having two parts named Dalanjargal and Airag which are managed jointly. There is no entry fee to see the reserve and it is open all through the year. The flora and fauna here is diverse in nature. It includes 6 reptiles, over 200 plants, 33 mammals and 125 birds. This reserve is the best place to enjoy bird watching and explore the wildlife safari.
