Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve

The Gun - Galuut Nature Reserve is located 130 km away from Ulaan Baatar. It is a small reserve but it is state combines. This area is protected locally in order to conserve the rare species. The Gun Galuut Reserve has three parts namely tourism, core zones and limited. The core zones include the ecosystem of Rocky Mountains, lakes, rivers, steppe, wetlands and streams which stretches to 20000 hectares. Most of the areas are original and tourists visiting this place find it delightful. The picturesque is mesmerizing and the flora and fauna is amazing. The endangered species include the Bar- Headed Goose, Bearded Vulture, Whooper Swan, and Argali wild Mountain Sheep. The mountains Baits and Berkh make the reserve all the more attractive.
