These shophouses highlight the Neo-classical architectural style. The two shops that remain still style Chinese herbs and medicines. These shophouses were orginally built in the 1930s and the two that remain open are the Kwang Yeow Heng and Soon Hing Cheong. They are located just to the west of the Central Market.
