Aspazija’s house was opened to visitors in 1996 as a memorial site to the poet. The permanent exhibition “Aspazija’s Life and Creative Work, 1933 − 1943” is displayed here; school pupils of lower grades are offered an educational museum program “Aspazija and Ink”.Newlywed couples are invited to take photos and to share their first cup of coffee in Aspazija’s sitting-room, at the same time enjoying the historical interior of the room.

The house, in which poet Aspazija spent the last 10 years of her life, is situated in the narrowest stretch of Jūrmala, in Dubulti, where the Lielupe River is only separated from the sea by a narrow, 320 metre wide, strip of land. The house was built in 1903 and is a magnificent example of wooden architecture.
