Soverato is a town and comune in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region of southern Italy.
 
Soverato sits on the Ionian Sea, in the Gulf of Squillace. Nearby there is a string of villages along the white beaches of the gulf like Montepaone, Davoli and Isca Marina.

What There Is To Do: 
In Soverato, being a small town, there is much more to do during summer, where there are many bars, cafes and gelateria (ice cream parlours) open late into the night. Whereas during winter, these bars, cafes and gelaterias are limited to standard italian working hours. 
 
An idea of some of the many things to do in Soverato are:
  • Take a walk along the lungomare (sea front)
  • Go to the aquarium
  • Take an Ice Cream from a local gelateria such as Cento Fiori.
  • Go Shopping in one of the many shops such as Betty Rosa (designer clothes) or Conad (supermarket)
