Plaza Indonesia Mall:
Still leading as one of the finest shopping centres in the country, even in South East Asia, Plaza Indonesia received continuous commercial success since its opening, more than two decades ago. On its opening, the mall was previously occupied by Indonesia's first Sogo flagship department store as well as numbers of international fashion labels and jewelries.
The Sogo outlet inside the mall was closed down on February 28, 2007 and the former lot occupied by the large department store was fully renovated and revamped to make way for more luxury brands, such as Max Mara, Hugo Boss, Bally and Salvatore Ferragamo. The previous Sogo Supermarket, however, is still operating after being redeveloped into the Sogo Food Hall which is located on the Lower Ground floor.
Today, the mall houses numerous international brands, including Giorgio Armani, Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Fendi and many more. It was the first mall to house the first ever Zara store and Indonesia's first Starbucks outlet in the early 2000s. The mall boasts a myriad of food and beverage outlets, fine-dinings, authentic cuisines, cafés, as well as two food courts located on the Lower Ground floor and the fifth floor of the extension.
