The Garo Hills over which this national park is spread has no motorways built inside and solely rests on an individual’s capacity for trekking through these rain forests. The terrain however provides a great choice of trekking opportunities for a tourist to choose from. Apart from the wildlife that you find in this region, the setting of the Balphakram National Park also capitalizes on the scenic beauty of the Garo Hills located on the India-Bangladesh border. Other sporting activities of the park include caving, rock climbing & water-sports as well. However, assistance, advice and guides from the Forest Department officials are solicited before taking on any challenge.
