Tagore Hill

The Tagore Hill also known as Morabadi Hill is situated in Morabadi, Ranchi, Jharkhand.4 kms north of the city, Tagore Hill stands like sentinel - on a hilltop. Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore's brother, Jyotirindranath Tagore had visited Ranchi, in 1908. Charmed by the appeal of the place, he had bought Morahbadi Hill and adjoining areas and built a house atop. Tagore Hill is about 300 ft. high. As the hill is associated with a history pertaining to Tagore family, it is known as Tagore Hill. A number of books are supposed to have been written by Rabindra Nath Tagore on the top of the hill.
