Located on the south-western periphery of the Tadoba National Park, it is laced by bamboo groves making it an ideal habitat for the Marsh Crocodiles which were once common within the state of Maharashtra.

An important location for sighting a variety of animals who visit to quench their thirst, Tadoba Lake is also the chosen ground of the migratory ducks which are found flocking here during their migratory season. However, make sure that you stay away from the water which is home to a large number of Marsh Crocodiles willing to give an unpleasant encounter.
